“What would you do if your two best friends’ weddings were on the same day?”

Published 6th Oct 2017 - Logistical nightmare alert...

In a scenario that sounds as if it’s tumbled straight out of a Hollywood movie, one Reddit user turned to the online forum this week to ask for advice on a truly tricky wedding etiquette issue.

Turning to their fellow Redditors for advice, the fantastically-named YouStalkedMyHistory asked earlier this week: "What would you do if your two best friends weddings were on the same day?"

6 things that will change after your wedding day

It’s a truly tricky situation - and one that luckily, many people will almost certainly never experience. However, just in case you ever do find yourself in a similar hot spot, the Reddit community was full of ideas for dealing with it.

“Fake my death, move to Swaziland, and become a yeoman farmer,” suggested one user, with another adding: “Husband and I would probably split up and each go to the one we felt we were more friends with”.

However, perceptive Redditors were quick to ponder whether or not there was a Bride Wars-esque feud between the two soon-to-be-wed friends - whilst another came up with an entirely more suspicious idea.

“I'd call b******t because no one has more than one friend,” observed 4usernames.

YouStalkedMyHistory has yet to reveal what he or she is planning to do, although we have our fingers crossed it will be nothing as extreme as faking their own death...
