This couple recreated their wedding day, decades after they first tied the knot
When Dona and Seu Rosso tied the knot in Brazil in 1957, they did it on a super-tight budget.
The couple were able to DIY most of their wedding day details; for example, the bride’s dress was handmade by her godmother, whilst the cake was created by a relative. However, one area they couldn’t DIY was the photography - meaning they had no one on-hand to help capture the memories of the special day.
However, 60 years later - and after an incredible six decades of marriage - the couple have finally had the pictures taken that they couldn’t quite afford all those years ago.
With the help of São Paulo Fotografia, Dona and Seu donned their wedding finery and recreated their big day - and even renewed their vows in the process, surrounded by their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
As well as the photographer, other suppliers came on-board to help make the celebration as authentic to the 1957 original as possible, including a florist, a bridal designer and a tailor.
Total magic, don’t you think?
