Foodie blogger and cookbook-writer-extrodinaire Ella Woodward - aka Deliciously Ella - tied the knot with her love Matthew Mills last year.
The couple exchanged their vows in a gorgeous beach-held celebration in Mustique - and naturally, when one of the biggest names in the food industry gets married, there's going to be a certain degree of curiosity about the delicious details she picked chose for the occasion.
Last week, we finally got a tantalising glimpse of the wedding cake the happy couple and their guests tucked into at the celebration.
The naked-bake design was created by Ella's friend - and fellow blogger - Olivia Wollenberg, with Ella's team sharing a snap of the creation on her Instagram account to celebrate Ella's birthday last week.
The image was captioned: "Happy Birthday Ella ... Rumour has it her and @livias_kitchen ate the whole of the top layer of her wedding cake before it had even been cut ... With love from the Deliciously Ella team xx".
However, shortly after the gorgeous image had been shared, a botanist suggested the blooms adorning the cake were a less-than-appetising choice.
Tweeting a photo of the cake to his 46k followers, James Wong observed: "I'm sure wellness bloggers are nice, well-meaning people, but those are highly toxic Plumeria flowers on that #CleanEating #GlutenFree cake".
However, Ella was quick to dispel the speculation about the cake's 'toxic' status, confirming on Instagram: "We [Googled it] - the flowers are edible though, it's the rest of the plant that isn't. If you google it, the results will confirm that".
