Love pattern? We hear you - and with maximalism one of the most exciting interiors trends for 2018, there's no better time to include a splash of pattern into your home.

Browse 1,000s of inspiring ideas for your kitchen, bathroom and bedroom redesign here

There are endless ways to add a grown-up pop of pattern to your kitchen, bathroom or bedroom. From the obvious to the less likely, browse our edit of inspiring ideas below...

#1 Add an accent wall
High impact and attention-grabbing, the accent wall is a fantastic way to transform a room and breathe fresh life into a space.

The good news? There's no such thing as too much (in our opinion, at least) when it comes to choosing the perfect print for your accent wall: an excess of pattern can be overwhelming but by using just one wall, your room will look on-point rather than jarring.

Obviously, tasteful prints only need apply for this truly transformative idea - although if you have an innate fear of colour or pattern, this might be one look to swerve. Go big or go home, people, go big or go home.

#5 Mix-and-match patterns in the bathroom
The bathroom, with its disposition towards marble and porcelain surfaces, lends itself perfectly to pattern: from exquisitely veined marble to flamboyantly bright tiles on the floor...

Don't forget to consider your shower area, too. Whether it's an accent wall at the back of the cubicle or a set of patterned tiles on the floor, it works particularly well in a smaller bathroom where pattern on the main walls could be over-bearing.
