This couple's wedding party look shocked - and with good reason...
This wedding story is a bit of a cautionary tale.
Peter Saab and Leah Juliano tied the knot in Alabama last month, and hired photographer Leslie Hollingsworth to snap their day. The newlyweds were joined by a huge bridal party, with the bride picking 14 friends and relatives to join her as bridesmaids, and the groom picking 16 ushers and best men.
Leslie had assembled the considerably-sized bridal party on the steps outside the happy couple's Alabama wedding venue when something scary happened: she was nearly knocked down by a car.
Like, no - really. The photographer had stepped off the pavement to get a wider shot when a car flew by, so close to Leslie she 'just felt the wind go past me'. Incredibly - and amazingly - she managed to capture a shot of the bridal party's shock, with the below shot showing the 'WTF, OMG!' reactions of many of the bridesmaids and ushers.
Talking to The Huffington Post, Leslie explained: "It was such a huge wedding party, so I had to back up a little bit [to take the photo]... [I was] maybe two feet off the curb. I was out there for five seconds".
She continued: "It was so hysterical. All the girls are horrified. The couple is sitting there indifferently. They don't even notice anything. All the guys are like, 'What just happened?'".
Scary, no? Luckily there was no harm done, and Leslie photographed the rest of Peter and Leah's celebration without any other hiccups/near-miss incidents. Yay!
