Don’t panic if the last thing you want is green fingers, look to your family and friends and you’re sure to find a keen gardener or allotment owner who’ll feel privileged to offer flowers as a gift. “We’ve noticed a lot of our brides and their families are growing at least a small proportion of flowers to be included in their wedding designs,” says Emma Lynch from Love Lily. “Most florists will welcome working with both wholesale-bought stems and home-grown, making it a way to reduce costs and give your arrangements a sentimental touch, too.”
